Miyaluo, translated as "fun dam" in Tibetan, is a scenic spot located in Li County, Sichuan Province. The panoramic area is 127 kilometers long from east to west. It is surrounded by mountains, deep canyons, vast forests, fresh air, rich historical heritage and mysterious canyon style.
In the golden autumn, the Miyaluo Mountains are covered in red leaves, the water is stained with red leaves, and the roads are paved with red leaves. Clusters and balls of red leaves burn like the flames of Miyaluo autumn. Snow-capped mountains, hot springs, forests, red leaves, and Tibetan and Qiang culture form a red corridor.
The area is well worth a visit for its scenic spots including the Miyaluo red leaves, Gulugou hot springs, Partridge Mountain snow scene, Bipenggou, Longdangou waterfalls, Qiang Village Tibetan village, and Buddhist temples, which are connected by the Zagunao River.
In the summer, it's a great place to escape the heat; in the golden autumn, thousands of trees are in a riot of color, competing for beauty in all shapes and sizes. The vibrant colors, along with the blue sky, white clouds, mountains, and rivers, create a picturesque autumn scene.
In mid-October, a series of religious and folk activities will be held here, including temple fairs, hunting, and folk dances. There is also a wide variety of mountain specialties such as wild vegetables and spices.
