Dongying City is a prefecture-level city in Shandong Province. It was established in October 1983. It is the central city of the Yellow River Delta and an important oil base in my country [1]. Dongying is located in the northeast of Shandong Province, in the delta area at the mouth of the Yellow River, at 118°5' east longitude and 38°15' north latitude. Dongying is the hometown of the great ancient military strategist Sun Wu, the birthplace of Shandong's representative local opera Lü Opera, and the rise of Shengli Oilfield, China's second largest oil industry base. It has been rated as one of China's "six most beautiful wetlands". Dongying has obvious location advantages. It faces the Bohai Sea to the east, and faces Japan and South Korea across the sea. It is adjacent to the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Economic Zone to the north, and is connected to the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone to the south. It radiates to the vast inland area to the west. It is an important node in the Bohai Rim Economic Zone and an important part of the Shandong Peninsula urban agglomeration. It is located in a hub connecting the Central Plains Economic Zone with the Northeast Economic Zone, and the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Economic Zone with the Jiaodong Peninsula Economic Zone. In 2017, Dongying City was selected as the fifth National Civilized City. [3] On November 12, 2017, the “2017 China Top 100 Cities Ranking” was released, and Dongying City was ranked among the top ten cities with the highest fixed asset investment.
