Introducing Shigu Town
                    Shigu Town, Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province: Located in the west of Lijiang Old Town, it is adjacent to Jiuhe Township and Longpan Township in the east, Shitou Township in the south, and Liming Township in the west and north. It is a strategic location that has been fought for by military strategists throughout the ages. It is named after a drum-shaped stone tablet carved from white marble in the town. The stone tablet has a diameter of 1.5 meters and a thickness of 0.7 meters. It is one of the earliest stone tablets found in Lijiang. It is less than 60 kilometers away from Lijiang Old Town. It was named after the stone drum erected by Zhuge Liang during his southern expedition. It is located in the famous First Bend of the Yangtze River (the First Bend of the Yangtze River). It is located in the bottom area of the V-shape in the north of Yulong County. In October 2015, it was listed as the third batch of national characteristic landscape tourism towns and villages demonstration by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the National Tourism Administration.
