Introducing Jing County

Jing County is located in southeastern Anhui Province, west of Xuancheng City. Since ancient times, it has been known as "an old county of the Han Dynasty, a famous state on the Jiangzuo River," and "its mountains and rivers are beautiful, and it is the most beautiful in the south of the Yangtze River." Ancient records say that it is "at the intersection of Wu and Yue, and the throat of Shechi." According to the "Book of the Later Han Dynasty: Chronicle of Emperor Ming," "there is the Jing River, which flows out of Wuhu, and is named after the water." It is located in the northern part of the southern Anhui mountainous area, with many mountains and little land. The remaining range of Huangshan Mountain stretches across the southeast of the county, and the branches of Jiuhua Mountain meander northwest. The Qingyi River flows through the county from southwest to northeast. It is a glorious old revolutionary base, the site of the Southern Anhui Incident, and the origin of Xuan brushes, one of the four famous pens, and Xuan paper, one of the four treasures of the study. Li Bai wrote in Jing County, "The water of Taohuatan is a thousand feet deep, but not as deep as the love that Wang Lun gave me."
