Introducing Lady City

To commemorate Lady Han's contribution to building the city and resisting the enemy, this section of the city wall was later called Lady City. In the early Ming Dynasty, a 24.6-meter-long and 23.4-meter-wide sub-city wall was added. Following numerous repairs, the stone inscription "Lady City" and inscriptions such as "Among the scenic spots benefiting the people of Xiang County, Lady City is the most outstanding" were erected. In 1982, the Xiangyang Municipal People's Government restored the battlements of the city wall and built a memorial pavilion on the wall, housing a stone statue of Lady Han, which has been designated a tourist attraction.
