Yuelu Academy, the most prestigious of the four great academies of the Song Dynasty, remains the best-preserved ancient academy in China today. Orange Island, home to "River and Sky Dusk Snow," one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Xiaoxiang during the Song Dynasty, is known as "China's First Island."
