The eastern side of the island, due to the topographical changes, resembles a giant mountain eagle swooping down into the water, hence the name "Eagle Striking the Water." On the west shore of the lake lies a 700-meter-long island, 250 meters wide at its peak, extending into the water, and only 50 meters near shore. Its shape resembles a giant python siphoning water from Bailong Mountain in the northwest, earning it the nickname "Python Sucking Water." In the lake, there are three small islands of the same shape and size evenly distributed in the east, west and north, surrounding Shuangfeng Island and Shetou Island. They look like three turtles floating on the water playing with a giant python sucking water, which can be called "Turtle and Snake Playing in Water".
