It boasts the World Heritage Karst Furong Cave and the National 5A-level Three Natural Bridges. Wulong District is a National Civilized Unit in the Transportation Industry and has been awarded titles such as "Pollution-Free Agricultural Product Producing County," "China's Top Ten Sports Marketing Cities of 2012," and "China's Outdoor Sports Base." In 2016, Wulong was awarded the "China Sustainable Development City Model Award" by the United Nations. In November 2016, the district was selected by the National Tourism Administration as a candidate for the second batch of "National All-Area Tourism Demonstration Zones." China is focusing on creating a "local Hollywood." Chongqing will begin construction of the "Belt and Road Film and Television Creative Cultural Industry City" in Wulong District.
