Take a stroll through the park to enjoy the scenic beauty and tranquility. Visit the Wangjiang Tower, an iconic landmark, for panoramic views of the surrounding area. Explore the bamboo forest and enjoy the peaceful ambiance. Don’t forget to check out the exhibits that highlight Chengdu's cultural heritage.

Wangjianglou Park, located on the south bank of the Jinjiang River near Chengdu's East Gate, is renowned for its Wangjianglou ancient architectural complex, the Xue Tao Memorial Hall, and other cultural relics, as well as a variety of rare and exotic bamboo. The park, covering 188 mu (approximately 39 mu) divided into a cultural relics protection area (39 mu) and an open garden area (149 mu), commemorates the Tang Dynasty poet Xue Tao and serves as a tourist attraction. It is currently a National Key Cultural Relic Protection Site.
Chongli Pavilion (commonly known as Wangjiang Tower), nestled against the Jin River, is the park's main structure. A 27.9-meter-tall, all-wood structure, its name derives from the phrase "Chongli," a line from the Jin Dynasty writer Zuo Si's "Ode to the Capital of Shu": "Both beautiful and lofty, it truly deserves the name Chengdu." Because it stands on the banks of the Jin River, it's commonly known as the "Wangjiang Tower." Atop the tower is a statue dedicated to Wenquxing (the God of Literature).
