Wanfo Lake Scenic Area is a lake-style tourist attraction, a National AAAAA-level tourist area, a National Water Conservancy Scenic Area, and a National Geopark. Surrounded by mountains, Wanfo Lake shimmers with emerald green waters. Its 66 islands, large and small, resemble the backs of green turtles and the appearance of giant crocodiles emerging from the water. Scenic spots such as Peach Blossom Island, Swallow Island, Golden Coast, Elegant Scenery Island, and Huicui Mountain Forest, each with its own unique charm, are sure to captivate you.

The kilometer-long artificial earth-rock dam, constructed by hand and shoulder, is hailed by UNESCO as the world's largest artificial earth dam.
