Introducing Qixinggang

Qixinggang, located outside Tongyuan Gate in Chongqing's main urban area, is a small hill. On maps of Chongqing's urban area from the late Qing Dynasty, Qixinggang was labeled "Qixingang." Historically, pools and tanks were used to store water for firefighting. This function gradually faded, and the name "Qixingang" (Qixinggang) evolved into its current form. Today, the area houses several cultural relics, including the Vajra Bodhi Pagoda.
