The Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, also known as the Chongqing Museum, is one of the first national first-class museums and a national museum jointly built by the central and local governments. It is located in Yuzhong District, Chongqing, directly opposite the Chongqing People's Auditorium.

The exhibition hall covers an area of ​​20,858 square meters, and the exhibition consists of 4 basic displays, 6 special displays, 1 360-degree full-circle film, 1 diorama display, 1 audience practice center and 3 temporary exhibitions.

The museum introduces the entire process of the Three Gorges Dam project from project approval to construction and final completion; it also introduces the historical development and progress of the entire Three Gorges from ancient times to the present. In addition to the introduction to the Three Gorges style, there are also some real exhibits of ancient monuments. These monuments were rescued before the Three Gorges Dam was flooded.
