Introducing Flying Stone

The Flying Stone, a natural weathering formation, is located on a flat rock in Pingtiangang, Huangshan Scenic Area, Anhui Province. The contact surface between the two rocks is minimal, and the upper rock appears to have flown from outer space, hence the name "Flying Stone." It is a Huangshan landmark.

The Feilai Stone is 12 meters tall and weighs 600 tons. Its base has very little contact with the rock, making it appear precarious yet incredibly resilient. The 1987 CCTV version of "Dream of the Red Chamber" was filmed here, and the stubborn rock featured in the scene was the Feilai Stone.
