The Nujiang River flows through the vicinity of Ridan Village in Bingzhongluo Township. Blocked by the Wangqing cliffs, the river changes its direction from north to south to east to west. After flowing for more than 300 meters, it is blocked by the Dala Mountains and turns sharply from west to east again, thus forming a large semicircular bay, which is the first bay of the Nujiang River.
There is a village called Kantong Village in the center of the bay. The river surface here is more than 1,710 meters above sea level, which is majestic. The Nujiang Plateau above the bay is flat and open, 500 meters above the Nujiang River, forming a small peninsula-shaped plain surrounded by water on three sides.
The scenery around the small plain is pleasant. During the slack season or holidays, people come here to go boating, sing and dance. Kantong Village can be called a paradise in the canyon, with pastoral scenery everywhere.
