The Erlanghe Scenic Area is located at an altitude of 723 meters, and the highest altitude in the operating area is 1,600 meters. The climate is similar to that of China's Snow Town. It snows from mid-October to the end of April of the following year, with a snowy season of 7 months. The thickness of the snow can reach about 2 meters. The amount, quality and viscosity of the snow are extremely special. The wonders such as snow hangings and rime that take shapes according to objects amaze all tourists. Its landscape is comparable to the snow scenes in Snow Town and Yabuli Scenic Area. It is another dazzling pearl inlaid on the Yaxue tourism route.
The Erlang River Scenic Area is a natural oxygen bar. Strolling through the forest, visitors can not only breathe air tinged with negative oxygen ions but also experience the joy of gathering wild vegetables. The area boasts "Two Rivers," "Eight Creeks," and "Sixteen Springs," all of which flow year-round. The springs gush forth refreshing, sweet water, cascading through treetops or over bluestones. In autumn, visitors can ascend the "Camelback" of the 29th Linban Hailang Wind Power Plant to view the unique "Five-Colored Mountain," resembling a vast oil painting. This is a perfect destination for art and photography enthusiasts.
