Introducing Xiyagou

The Xiyagou Scenic Area lies at the southern end of the Wangmangling Scenic Area, nestled in a deep valley with a drop of over 1,000 meters. The Xiya Cliff Road, home to a world-renowned wonder, is a steep, deep valley with rugged terrain and sheer cliffs. This natural barrier has left the 200 households in the valley virtually isolated from the outside world, forcing them to fend for themselves for centuries. This is the reason behind the legendary "Yugong moving the mountains."

The barrier of the mountains has also created a paradise on earth. The valley bottom of the area is connected by paths, the water flows under the Mianyang Bridge, the fields are green, the people are simple, and the natural scenery is beautiful. There is a large canyon running vertically from north to south in the village. It is deep and long, with cliffs like screens and sandstone like red. A clear spring flows down from the wall, the sound of waves is like thunder, the cold air is pressing up, and the clouds are misty, which is spectacular.
