Located on the northern slope of Changbai Mountain, Lvyuantan Waterfall gets its name from the deep, emerald green waters of the lake. The waterfall cascades down to a peak drop of 26 meters, cascading over boulders before flowing into the deep pool.
Whenever fog rises, the water mist fills the pond, blending seamlessly with the mountain birch trees and ancient rocks. It is so beautiful that it looks like a fairyland on earth, and is known as the "Little Jiuzhaigou".
