The water of Tianchi overflows from a small gap, flows out for about 1,000 meters, and cascades down from the cliff to form the famous Changbai Mountain Waterfall.

Besides Tianchi Lake and Changbai Mountain Waterfall, Changbai Mountain also boasts numerous lakes and waterfalls. Next to Tianchi is a small Tianchi Lake, also known as Changbai Lake, whose waters are also turquoise blue. Yuehua Waterfall nestled in the woods and Tiyun Waterfall halfway up the mountain are also quite impressive.
