
Niukouyu Reservoir, located in Niukouyu Village, Fangshan District, southwest of Hongsi Village, is affiliated with the Yanhua Veolia Wastewater Treatment Plant and is used to test and purify water quality. It is conveniently located near Fangshan Chengguan Town. It has now been transformed into Niukouyu Reservoir Park, offering free admission and crystal-clear waters. Niukouyu is a section of the Great Wall near Beijing with historical importance as a defensive site. It features ancient fortifications and watchtowers, representing military and cultural heritage from the Ming Dynasty.
