The park's unique natural environment offers unpredictable changes throughout the seasons, with rippling emerald waters of the Dragon Pond, towering ancient trees in the mountain stream, cascading waterfalls off cliffs, and vibrant greenery. Combining lakes, rocks, villages, and waterfalls, the park blends the unique, dangerous, secluded, and majestic charm of the surrounding landscape, making it a popular tourist destination for viewing flowers in spring, playing in the water in summer, admiring foliage in autumn, and appreciating snow in winter.
The scenic area is located in the transition zone between the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Chengdu Plain, and is part of the "West China Rain Screen Belt". The average annual temperature is 12.5-13.5℃, and the lowest temperature is -15℃.

Dragon Pond is a natural freshwater lake located in Chengdu, known for its ecological value, tranquil environment, and local cultural significance. It is a popular spot for relaxation, nature walks, and eco-tourism.
Located in the outskirts of Chengdu, it can be reached by taxi or private car from Chengdu city center. Some local buses connect nearby towns, but direct access is easiest by taxi or tour vehicle.
Open daily from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Spring and autumn offer the most pleasant weather and scenic beauty.
Entrance fees range from 30–60 CNY. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance or online through local tourism platforms.
