Introducing Ping'an Terraces

The Ping'an Rice Terraces are 27 kilometers from Longsheng County and 80 kilometers from Guilin. Centrally located in Ping'an Village, they span the administrative villages of Ping'an and Longji. Like a giant dragon, they soar across the five-mile-long slopes of the Four Dragon Ridge Rice Terraces, exuding a commanding and untamed power. The scenic spots include Seven Stars and the Moon and Nine Dragons and Five Tigers, as well as the nearby Longji Ancient Village.

The Ping'an Zhuang Rice Terraces reach a maximum altitude of 880 meters and a minimum altitude of 380 meters, with a vertical drop of 500 meters. Covering an area of 4 square kilometers, the terraces wind like a chain or ribbon, stretching from the foot of the mountain to the top. The small hills resemble snails, while the large ones resemble towers.
