Located in Luguhu Town, Yanyuan County, Liangshan City, Sichuan Province, the Palace of the Last Tusi Princess was the residence of Xiao Shuming, the Han Chinese wife of the last Zuosuo Tusi. A legendary figure in the Kingdom of Daughters, Xiao Shuming is known as the last of the "Mosuo Queens."

In 1943, while still a student in Ya'an, Xiao Shuming was chosen as an ambassador to the Mosuo Kingdom of Women. She wielded chieftain power for over 50 years, managing Mosuo internal affairs, quelling conflicts and rebellions, and bridging the Han and Mosuo ethnic groups. Her life, marked by both prosperity and hardship, culminated in a legendary and remarkable life, earning her the nickname "a modern-day Wang Zhaojun."
