Guyu Lake is located in Donglongchang County, Neijiang City, 2 kilometers from the county seat. The scenic area includes the Edong Waterfall, a group of ancient memorial archways, Yunfeng Pass, Yunding Village, Yunding Field, Shengdeng Mountain, and Guyu Lake.

Guyu Lake is an artificial medium-sized lake built in the 1970s. It has a wide lake surface and clear water. There are many islands and peninsulas in the lake, including 6 large and small islands.

The mountains around the lake are steep, with strange rocks standing in rows, and the mountains are shaded by green trees, creating beautiful scenery. The Jin'e River flows from the east and splits into two in front of Huilong Mountain. It flows around the mountain and falls straight down from a 40-meter-high cliff, forming two rows of wide waterfalls, which are particularly spectacular during the flood season.

Every winter, hundreds of thousands of migratory birds fly over mountains and rivers to roost in Guyu Lake for the winter.
