Located in Beichuan, under the jurisdiction of Beichuan Leigu Town, Gina Qiang Village is the first village entering Beichuan from Mianyang and is known as the "First Village of Beichuan." Formerly known as Maoershi Village, most of the villagers are Qiang.
Gina Qiang Village is also the earliest Qiang village built after the Wenchuan earthquake. The courtyard rebuilt after the earthquake still gives people an ancient feeling. The deep and majestic watchtowers stand proudly. The outer walls of the watchtowers are elegant and simple. On the roof, white stones stand tall, and various Qiang flags are planted.
Above the doors of every household were draped in Qiang red and hung with sheep skulls. On the bonfire square, two gray-white towers, each more than ten stories high, built of bluestone, formed a beautiful and eye-catching landscape amidst the green mountains and clear waters.
