Beichuan Qiang City Tourist Area is located in Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, Mianyang City. It is an open scenic area that integrates commemoration, gratitude and love, Yu Qiang customs and ecological leisure. It consists of the Beichuan Earthquake Ruins Area, Beichuan New County Town, Beichuan Earthquake Memorial Hall, Beichuan Qiang Folk Museum, Gina Qiang Village, West Visitor Center and other attractions.

The theme of the tourist area is remembrance and tribute, boundless love, and Yu-Qiang culture, that is, to commemorate the "5.12" earthquake disaster, carry the great spirit of earthquake relief and boundless love, and display and inherit the long cultural history and splendid national culture of the Qiang people, forming three core tourism product systems: earthquake sites, boundless love culture, and Yu-Qiang culture.

Beichuan Qiang Folk Museum is the only folk museum in the country that comprehensively displays the history and culture of the Qiang ethnic group. It is the Beichuan branch of the China Folk Museum and the largest Qiang folk museum in China. It is known as "China's No. 1 Qiang Museum."
