Wolong Lake, located near the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area in Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, stands at 2,215 meters above sea level and 22 meters deep. Through the mirror-like surface, a long, milky white travertine causeway stretches across the center of the lake, resembling a dragon swimming beneath the seabed, hence the name Wolong Lake. Surrounding it are a vibrant riot of flowers and trees, lush green in spring and summer. When the autumn winds blow, the causeway is ablaze with autumn colors, with red leaves and green trees reflected in the lake and mountains, creating a breathtaking beauty.
