Tazishan Park is located east of downtown Chengdu, Sichuan Province, on the eastern section of Shuanggui Road beneath the Shuangqiaozi Overpass. The park, covering 410 mu (approximately 1,000 acres), features rolling hills and a vast landscape. It also serves as the main venue for the annual Chengdu Lantern Festival.
The park features scenic areas such as the Wintersweet Garden, the Begonia Garden, the Crape Myrtle Garden, a bamboo forest, a fishing pond, a spring and rock forest, the Ginkgo Pavilion, and the Jade Tea Pavilion. It also houses a miniature garden of Bashu relics and Chengdu's iconic landmark, the Nine-Sky Tower, which is beautifully illuminated at night. Dotted among the woods are lawns, lakes, pavilions, and paths, imbuing the park with a sense of wildness. It is a popular destination for recreation, fishing, entertainment, tower climbing, picnics, and tea.

Jiutian Tower
Jiutian Tower is located on the top of a shallow hill in the Tazishan Park. The tower is 70 meters high and has 13 floors. It is exquisitely designed and uniquely structured, integrating towers, pavilions and terraces into one. It cleverly combines ancient architectural art with modern folk architectural art. The architectural style highlights local characteristics. It looks like a tower from a distance and a tower from up close. Its shape is novel and unique, making it an iconic and magnificent garden landscape in Chengdu.
Birdsong Forest
The park also boasts the Bird's Singing Forest, invested in and built by Fuzhou Longchuan Amusement Co., Ltd., covering 30 mu (approximately 16 acres). It features a collection of approximately 5,000 birds from eight categories and 13 families, including walking birds, wading birds, waterfowl, songbirds, raptors, climbing birds, flying birds, and waterfowl from around the world. Among them are over 20 species under first- and second-class national protection. The Bird's Singing Forest emphasizes bird science education and highlights bird performances. Combining recreational activities, fun activities, and educational experiences, it is a great place for leisure and recreation, and a perfect spring and autumn outing for elementary and middle school students.
Wintersweet Forest
The park's wintersweet forest contains nearly 2,000 clusters of more than ten varieties of wintersweet, including Suxin, Hehua, and Xinkou. It is the most concentrated and largest wintersweet forest in Chengdu's parks.
Admission is free during normal times, but tickets are charged during events. There are additional fees for rides and the Birdsong Forest.
