Hongshijian, the highest point within the Xiling Snow Mountain Scenic Area and the closest viewing point to the main peak of Xiling Snow Mountain, Daxuetang, is located. Hongshijian consists of three peaks, known as Upper, Middle, and Lower Hongshijian, made up of 300 to 400 red granite columns.

　　This is a natural viewing platform. To the west, you can see the vast snow-capped mountains stretching for hundreds of miles. At sunrise, you can also witness the spectacular sight of "sunlight shining on the golden mountain." To the east, you can gaze upon the Chengdu Plain, stretching for thousands of miles.
