Introducing Dari Lake

Darinor Lake, also known as Dari Lake, translates to "sea-like lake" in Chinese. It is one of the four famous lakes in Inner Mongolia and the largest lake in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. Located in Keshiketeng Banner, this 240-square-kilometer enclosed brackish lake is an inland plateau lake with no external drainage, relying entirely on freshwater inflow from the Haolai, Gongger, Liangzi, and Shari Rivers, as well as springs.

It is also known as the "Bird's Paradise" and enjoys the reputation of the third largest swan lake in my country (the other two swan lakes are Poyang Lake and Bayinbuluke Lake). Thousands of birds live here, with as many as 134 species. Among them, there are five national first-class protected animals, such as red-crowned cranes, white storks, black storks, great bustards and Stellar sea eagles; there are 18 national second-class protected animals, such as mute swans, whooper swans, grey cranes, white cranes, etc.

Every spring, when I feel the beauty of the lake, listen to the singing of birds and watch the dancing of swans, it is not just a dream.
