From the Baiyun Lake in Qinggang Subdistrict, Bishan District, climb along a winding mountain road or a country road for about an hour to an ancient temple hidden in the lush forests of the mountains. This is the Foyin Temple, with a history of over a thousand years. The temple boasts three scenic spots: the dilapidated main hall, the koi and lotus pond in front of the temple, and the ancient ginkgo tree "Millennium Couple".

The main hall of Foyin Temple is exquisitely crafted and magnificent, with every eave and tile revealing an antique charm. Lohan and Buddha statues, each with its own charming and naive demeanor, are scattered throughout. A koi lotus pond, topped by a small bridge, stands in front of the temple. The reflections of trees and the ancient temple are reflected in the water, evoking the image of "withered vines, old trees, crows, small bridges, flowing water, and homes." Outside the Tianwang Hall of Foyin Temple, two ginkgo trees, one male and one female, are known as the "couple ginkgo trees." These trees are over a thousand years old and are the largest pair of male and female ginkgo trees in Chongqing.

In late autumn, two ginkgo trees stand side by side, swaying in the wind and dancing in the rain, gradually dyeing Foyin Temple golden. At first glance, the golden scenery is everywhere, with cinnabar red walls, secluded ancient paths, and ginkgo trees everywhere. The red walls and green tiles are matched with ginkgo trees, which is a magnificent beauty.
