Introducing Qixingtan

Qixingtan is a large lake located in Beipu Village, Xincheng Township, Hualien County, east of Hualien Airport. It is named Qixingtan because it looks like the Big Dipper.

This is a bay protruding from the side of Meilunbi. At Qixingtan, you can overlook the Qingshui Cliff in the distance, and at night you can enjoy the lights of Xincheng and Chongde areas. There are also many attractions in the area that provide relaxation and intellectual journeys.

The Qixingtan Scenic Area is centered around a bicycle path, which runs from Hualien City's Nanbin Park, through Hualien Harbor and the 48 Highland to the Qixingtan Scenic Area. The 21-kilometer journey offers unique scenery.
