The Shaanxi-Gansu Border Zhaojin Revolutionary Base Memorial Hall is located 54 kilometers north of Yaozhou District, Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province . Zhaojin was a revolutionary base established by the Communist Party of China at the border between Shaanxi and Gansu during the Second Revolutionary Civil War.

In early March 1933 , the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Special Committee of the Communist Party of China was established in Zhaojin . In early April , the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Revolutionary Committee was convened in Zhaojin. By the turn of spring and summer that year, the Zhaojin Soviet Area had become a revolutionary armed separatist region stretching nearly 100 miles and covering 2,500 square kilometers.

In Zhaojin Town, a tall monument to the former site of the Zhaojin Revolutionary Base will be erected. The inscription on the monument will record the battle history of our party and army, including the combat history of the Armament Repair Shop and the Clothing Factory.
