The Zhou Mansion ( Memorial Hall of the Former Office of the Chinese Communist Party Delegation in Shanghai) is located at No. 73 Sinan Road, Luwan District, Shanghai, along the east side of the road (formerly No. 107 Sinan Road ). It is a small Western-style building, a three-story garden villa. It was also the office of the Chinese Communist Party Delegation in Shanghai, also known as the Zhou Mansion.

In 1946 , the Chinese Communist Party delegation rented this house, intending to use it as a CCP office. However, the Kuomintang authorities disagreed. On June 18 , Dong Biwu, arriving in Shanghai from Nanjing, decisively stated, " If you don't allow us to set up an office, we'll call it ' Zhou Mansion . ' " Thus, the name Zhou Mansion came into being.

This small house, originally owned by French merchants in China, boasts a vine trellis upon entering, creating a tranquil and pleasant atmosphere. In the center of the lush lawn stands a large, lush pine tree. It was here that Zhou Enlai received General George Marshall, the US President's special envoy; exchanged views with Kuomintang government representatives Shao Lizi and Wu Tiecheng; and Third Party representatives Shen Junru and Huang Yanpei; and held press conferences for Chinese and foreign journalists.
