The Shanghai Luxun Memorial Hall, located in the southeast corner of Luxun Park in Hongkou District, is the first memorial dedicated to a figure after the founding of the People's Republic of China. The hall is a simple, elegant, two-story courtyard building, its grey tiles and white walls creating a simple and tranquil atmosphere.

When you come here, you can see the name of the museum written by Zhou Enlai on the gable. There is an inner garden " Baicao Garden " in front of the courtyard of the museum. The garden is lush and leafy, and the corners of the walls are covered with Polygonum multiflorum. There is a well in the garden, and there are also black-sailed boats. The stone well fence and black-sailed boats are all from Shaoxing, the hometown of Lu Xun.

The museum's treasured plaster mask of Lu Xun is worth a look. It was made by a Japanese friend on the day of his death, from his remains. The beard and eyebrows attached to it are the only original remains of Lu Xun. The museum also features scenes from the Uchiyama Bookstore and various editions of Lu Xun's works.
