Shanghai Xinzhuang Park is located at 421 Xinbang Road , southwest of Xinzhuang Town. It borders Xinxi Road to the east, Xinbang Road to the north, and Yujiabang River to the south and west. The park is primarily populated with plum trees, along with other evergreens such as pine, bamboo, cypress, and camphor.
The lotus pond is also one of the park's most scenic spots. A stream connects the two ponds, with a bridge crossing the stream. Over a dozen varieties of lotus are planted in both ponds, surrounded by yellow jasmine, wood fragrance, and wisteria. Near the ponds, a forest of black pines stands, with a stone pavilion named Hua Ting in the middle. Two century-old cedars, each 25 meters tall and 80 centimeters in diameter at breast height, form a canopy resembling a giant umbrella.
In summer, the pond is full of blooming lotus flowers. The lotus flowers of various colors appear graceful, charming and charming against the backdrop of green leaves. Visitors sitting under the shade of the trees and in the Huating Pavilion feel relaxed and contented, enjoying the view.
