Zhouqiao Old Street, located in the center of Jiading City, has been preserved since the tenth year of Jiading in the Southern Song Dynasty ( 1218 ). Within a thousand steps, it gathers ancient towers, old temples and famous gardens from the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, which is rare in China. It can be called the " root of Jiading " . It is also the most popular old street.
