Xunmengyuan Vanilla Farm is located in Xingguang Village, Zhujiajiao Town, Qingpu District, Shanghai. The first phase covers an area of approximately 26 hectares ( 400 acres) and is mainly planned for vanilla planting, seedling sales and Mediterranean rural tourism and leisure.
The park has introduced over 200 varieties of herbs, including thyme, rosemary, sage, English mint, and basil. It also has a seedling base, where experts who studied in the United States provide guidance, demonstrations, and cultivation. The park's highlights include the sea of lavender and the colorful flower mounds, complemented by seasonal plantings. From spring to autumn, the fields are covered in green, and when the flowers bloom, the landscape is vibrant with vibrant colors and fragrant aromas.
Even in the depths of winter, the lavender greenhouse continuously cultivates rare varieties of vanilla in China, making it the first truly green, environmentally friendly, and pollution-free organic vanilla production base in China. The park aims to surpass Japan's Tomita Farm and rival Provence in France.
Lavender blooms from May to October
