Changning Library is located at 356 Tianshan Road (Exit 1 of Weining Road, Metro Line 2). It is the largest urban library in Shanghai, with a building area of ​​about 16,000 square meters and 12 floors. It has a collection of more than 500,000 books, more than 1,000 kinds of Chinese and foreign newspapers and magazines, 1,200 reading seats, an international exchange and visit center, a new book display area, a reader leisure area, a Chinese and foreign newspaper and magazine reading area, an exhibition display area, a book lending area, a youth book reading area, a reference material reading area, a multimedia book reading area, a special collection reading area, an education and training center, and a multi-functional library.
