Nanhui, nestled on the shores of the East China Sea and Hangzhou Bay, boasts a crisscrossing network of rivers and ports, abundant resources, and delightful rural scenery. Nanhui boasts nearly 50,000 mu (approximately 1,000 hectares) of peach orchards, the largest in East China in terms of both planted area and variety, earning it the nickname "Peach Blossom Spring." Since 1991, Nanhui's annual Peach Blossom Festival has become a renowned Shanghai tourism destination.

　　Datuan Taoyuan was newly built in 2008 in the core area of ​​the "Shanghai Datuan Milu Peach Advantageous Agricultural Products Base" named by the Ministry of Agriculture on the basis of the successful hosting of previous "Peach Blossom Festivals" in combination with the development situation and citizens' needs. It is a new type of scenic spot integrating "food, accommodation, shopping, travel and entertainment".
