Traffic Park, located at No. 262 Xinmalu, was completed in 1953 and opened on January 1, 1954. It was closed in 1972 due to the construction of air defense fortifications. Reconstruction work began in 1977 and was completed at the end of 1978. The reconstructed area covers 15,800 square meters. It reopened on January 1, 1979 with ticket sales.
