Introducing Penglai Park

Penglai Park, located in the southern part of Luwan District in central Shanghai, near the Nanpu Bridge, is named " Penglai Park " because it is located in the former Penglai District . The park was established in October 1953 on the site of part of Datong Middle School, which was destroyed during the August 13th Incident . Over the past forty years, it has been cultivated by generations of gardeners.

The park boasts eight scenic spots, including a large rockery, a pond, a lion path, a pot of heaven and earth, azalea garden, the Nine Dragon Wall, and the Penglai Waves. It's a popular spot for morning exercises and strolls for residents. The park also features a children's playground, an amusement park, an exhibition hall, a Penglai restaurant, and a merchandise department.
