Zhutan Mountain is located in the Xiandu Scenic Area. Key attractions include the Xiandi Causeway, Huiweng Pavilion, Nine Dragon Wall, and Chaoran Pavilion. The swaying willows flanking the Xiandi Causeway and the long, cobblestone embankment create a romantic and amorous scene, making it a prime spot for local couples to take wedding photos.
In fact, the main reason Xiandi is so popular as a wedding photography location is that it offers the best views of Dinghu Peak. Dinghu Peak and Lianxi River serve as the backdrop for wedding photos, testifying to their love. The implication is that lovers are like the reflection of Dinghu Peak in the water: you in me, me in you.
Atop the Immortal Causeway, a peaked pavilion and adjacent waterside pavilion enhance the scenery and provide a prime photo op. From this vantage point, Dinghu Peak stands majestically on the shore, while its graceful figure sways gracefully in the water. When the setting sun casts a golden glow, both the shore and the peak in the stream become even more captivating, resembling celestial palaces.
This place was also the filming base for dozens of film and television dramas such as "Ashima", "The Twins", "The Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils", and "The Emperor Wu of Han".
Summer is a prime time for rafting in the beautiful mountains and rivers, offering a truly unique experience. Furthermore, every year on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, the Double Ninth Festival, Xiandu hosts a tourism and cultural festival. This lively event features memorials for Emperor Huangdi, mountaineering competitions, rock climbing contests, flying boat performances, and folk art performances, adding a unique touch of charm to the tranquility of the mountains.
