Shanghai Li'an Park, funded by the Shanghai Outer Ring Road Command and the Xinzhuang Industrial Zone, opened to the public in August 2006 with a total investment of over 14 million yuan. The design fully utilizes existing water bodies and low-lying areas, connecting water systems, desilting river channels, and excavating new water bodies to expand the water area and improve its fluidity and self-purification capacity.
