Villa Vigía, Hemingway's former Havana residence, is now a renowned museum and is where he wrote his immortal masterpiece, The Old Man and the Sea.

This Nobel Prize winner in literature attracts numerous visitors. The estate includes Hemingway's living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, two studies, and his children's bedrooms. There's a swimming pool with a dressing room, and the yacht he used for his sailing trips is also well-preserved here. Beside the pool are the graves of Hemingway's four beloved cats. The house is located in Havana's Cerro district and can be reached by Havana's M7 bus line.

The estate was built in 1887, and Hemingway lived here from 1940 to 1961. Many of his important works were also written here. The house still retains the appearance it had when Hemingway lived there, including books and magazines everywhere and a living room ready to host friends.
