These buildings are magnificent, featuring exquisite brick, wood, and stone carvings. Opposite the memorial archways is the Congbuting Pavilion, whose plaque is attributed to the renowned Qing Dynasty calligrapher Deng Shiru. Deng Shiru left numerous handwritten works at the Bao family in Tangyue. The male ancestral hall of the Bao family features his handwritten inscription, "The Five Ethics of the Bao Family," written entirely in official script, measuring five to six inches square.
