The Hu Wenguang Memorial Archway, located in Xidi Village, Yi County, is commonly known as the " Xidi Memorial Archway . " Hu Wenguang ( 1521-1593 ), a native of Xidi, was a Jinshi (Jinshi) in the Yimao year of the Jiajing reign. He first served as magistrate of Wanzai County, Jiangxi Province, and later as governor of Jiaozhou. He was later promoted to Chief Clerk of the Prince of Jing's Palace and granted the rank of Fourth-Rank Imperial Doctor. Because of his outstanding political achievements, the emperor granted permission for the construction of this stone archway.

The entire archway is decorated with various patterns using typical Huizhou-style techniques, including relief, openwork, and round carving, each of which carries a profound meaning.
