The owner of the house in the Ming Dynasty was the relative of Cheng Minzheng, the right vice-minister of the Ministry of Rites and the chief examiner of Tang Bohu; Building No. 8 has the richest cultural connotations, with a warning stone saying " dripping water wears away stone " and a large woodcut group painting consisting of 108 pictures that showcases the essence of Huizhou woodcuts; Building No. 28 is the residence of officials and businessmen, with a unique door cover, which is a representative of Huizhou stone carvings.
