Located in Fengmi Lane, Tangbu Village, Pingyao, Yuhang District, Hangzhou, Huaguo Mountain, formerly known as Meilin Mountain Villa (named after the bayberry), was developed by local farmer He Jianhua in 2010. Huaguo Mountain lives up to its name, boasting bamboo, bayberry, cherry, plum, blueberry, peach, apple, pear, tea plantations, and highland corn, ensuring a year-round bounty of fruit.
Over 500 mu (apple groves) of bayberry, primarily water chestnut and Dongkui varieties, are grown here, similar to those grown in Xianju, Yuyao. Picking begins in June, and blueberries are another specialty. It's a great weekend getaway to experience the joy of picking your own fruit and immerse yourself in the local farm life.
