Introducing Laolingou

Laolinggou is located in Tucheng Township, Dianjun District, Yichang City, approximately 50 kilometers from Zhushi Street. It stretches approximately 5-6 kilometers, with a drop of 200-300 meters. Along the way, there are three or four waterfalls suitable for rafting, with the highest waterfall ranging from 20-25 meters.

This canyon boasts expansive terrain, unique geology, and stunning scenery. On sunny days, enjoy the sun throughout the entire journey, or the interspersed light and shadows between the canyons. Rainy days offer multiple safe escape routes. The upstream water storage capacity is limited, so during extended periods of no rain, the water volume is low, but the water is clear and sweet. However, after brief downpours or prolonged rainfall, numerous spectacular waterfalls form. This is one of the rare alternative canyoning routes in Yichang during the rainy season. With multiple descent and escape routes available, you can choose to experience the full canyoning experience, challenging yourself and embracing nature, or go upstream to touch the waterfalls and feel the cool breeze.
