Yefu Mountain, approximately 9 kilometers east of Lujiang County, boasts lush peaks, magnificent temples, and numerous historical relics, earning it the nickname " Little Jiuhua Mountain of Jiangbei . " Legend has it that during the Spring and Autumn Period, Ou Yezi, the father of swordsmithing, forged swords here. The mountain's sword-casting pond remains, giving it the name Yefu Mountain. A poet praised it, " To sharpen my long sword, I seek Yefu Mountain at night. I gather my clothes and gaze upon the aura, which leads me to the Douniu. "
Yefu Mountain is about five miles from the foot to the top, with towering peaks spiraling upwards. You can overlook the river in the distance and the five lakes (Shahu, Huangpi Lake, Houhu, Baihu and Chaohu). The mountains and forests are dense, majestic and beautiful, and it is the best among the mountains between the Yangtze River and the Huai River. Whenever there is fog after a heavy rain, the sky is clear and clear. Climbing to the top, you can see floating clouds and purple mist above and green mountains below, forming the " Yefu Clear Mist " , which was formerly one of the eight scenic spots in Lujiang County.
